IPE Beams
The steel beam is a secondary product of hot rolled steel ingots and is widely used in construction and engineering projects because of its high strength.
Generally, steel beams are produced in two different cross sections of I and H shape, known as narrow and wide wing beams, respectively. These two sections are manufactured in different dimensions and have different strengths and applications. Geometrically, the beam is composed of two elements (horizontal) and vertical (die). The die beams resist shear stress and wings against bending moments. Due to this excellent resistance to all kinds of stresses, I and H beams are the most common steel cross sections in the construction of steel buildings, bridges and civil engineering projects.
The products of European countries and Iran are more than this type. The most obvious feature of this type of beam is that if you look at it from the two ends of the beam, the thickness of its wings is quite uniform at the beginning and end. Typically, the designs of buildings provided by our country's engineers are based on this standard, so this type of rail is more popular among customers.
The beams produced according to this standard are mostly products from China and Russia. It is characterized by its thin wings at the beginning and its gradual thickening at the bottom, so that if you look closely at the beam head you will see a slight slope in the wings thickness.
The types of imported beams available in the Iranian market are currently available in both types of standards in the Iranian market. Most imported IPE beams are from Poland, Spain, Germany and Korea. China's and Russia's IPE beams are also available.
IPE Beams
